WeChat, the most popular messaging app among Chinese consumers, reports a milestone 1 billion daily active users by the end of 2018. In the estimated $16 trillion Chinese mobile payments market, WeChat has over one billion users and its payment function, WeChatPay, has over 900 million active users every month.
Apart from the Chinese market, WeChat is also used widely in Southeast Asian countries as well as some developed economies where Chinese enterprises and ethnically Chinese people have a notable presence.
WeChatPay is an in-app payment feature that allows all WeChat users to pay for transactions quickly on their mobile phones. It’s fully optimized for online and offline businesses and aims to offer more opportunities soon.
WeChatPay is now available in Mainland China, Hong Kong, the U.S., South Africa and will be expanding to other regions soon.
Overseas WeChatPay Authorized Reseller License
In 2019, Tenpay offered an unique Overseas WeChaPay Authorized Reseller License to Blue Eye which registered in 2002. Blue Eye is responsible for all oversea markets such as Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore.
For our business model, we do not charge any fee from customers. We receive the handling fee from the merchants. The business model likes Visa, Master and UnionPay. And we offer the WeChatPay business license to oversea resellers for receiving contract & handling fee both.
